I have a special relationship with Myanmar.  My father was born there, and my family lived there for many years.  They were actually friends with Aung San Suu Kyi's family.  My grandmother and her mother even wrote a cookbook together!  My father visited her in house arrest several times.  Photographically, the Bagan area is one of the most photogenic areas I've ever seen.  It is like something out of a movie.  I hope to return when it is safer to visit.
