When I first started photographing walls and doors in India, I found them quirky and interesting.  But it wasn't until I really started paying attention to what was pasted on the walls that things got interesting.  In a sense, these walls with their faded posted bills and flyers (despite the "post no bills" signs everywhere) are an actual testament to the history of the local village or town where they are found.  These were taken in Rishikesh (where the Beatles went) so most of the stickers are about yoga or spiritual teachers coming through town.
